Extension tube magnification calculator
This calculator helps you determine the total magnification achieved when using extension tubes with your camera lens.
When you add extension tubes between your lens and camera body, the lens can focus much closer to the subject, resulting in greater magnification. The total magnification is determined by the native magnification of your lens and the length of the extension tubes you’re using. The total magnification can be computed using this simple formula
[math]\large
Magnification_{Total}= (Magnification_{Lens})+\frac{ Magnification_{Lens}) }{Focal\,Length_{Lens}}
